Mali came to the African Cup of Nations with high expectations, but a tough opening group of Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire and Benin meant the Eagles of Mali had to put their Championship hopes on hold. ....
Mali had been semi-finalists in the last two African Cup of Nations they participated in and were looking to go a step further but instead fell several steps back as they crashed out in the group stages
